Celebrate our wedding with us in the town of Sonoma, the weekend of September 28th, 2024.
For guests who are flying, we recommend San Francisco International (1¼ hours) or Oakland International (1 hour). We suggest renting a car to get up to wine country.
For Bay Area locals, we suggest staying at least Saturday night, since we're having an early ceremony Sunday.
We reserved a small room block at The Lodge at Sonoma, which is the location of the welcome dinner, as well as where we'll be staying:
- 2+ Nights:
Click this room block link for the wedding rate. If the room type you want (king, double, or suite) is sold out, let us know, and we'll add more to the block.
- 1 Night: We have a discount link, but the signed-in Bonvoy members rate is currently cheaper, so check both.
There are many other great hotels! Sonoma County is very large, so if you stay elsewhere, look in the town of Sonoma. The city of Santa Rosa is a bit further (but still doable). Here are some alternatives:
We're expecting a pleasant weekend of warm, dry weather.
Join us for cocktails, followed by a plated dinner. We'll be outside on the patio (with heat lamps), so we suggest bringing a light jacket.
- When: Saturday, September 28th, 7pm
- Where: Wit & Wisdom, in The Lodge at Sonoma
- Dress: Cocktail attire
We have planned a ceremony by the vineyard, followed by chilled wines and a lunch reception. The venue is twenty minutes north of town.
- When: Sunday, September 29th, noon
- Where: Chateau St. Jean
- Dress: Summer garden party. We want you to be comfortable at our wedding. For this time of year in California, may we suggest the following:
- Women: sundresses, cocktail dresses, flats or wedge heels for the outdoor ceremony
- Men: dress shirts, lightweight slacks, blazers
We suggest bringing sunglasses and your favorite summer accessories, as we'll be outdoors (in the shade).
P.S. Your presence is the gift we want most -- no other gifts are needed.
We love Northern California. If you choose to spend some extra time seeing the region, here are some of our top suggestions.
